Innovative, tech-driven and high-impact early and growth start-ups in Agritech, Cleantech and Healthcare sector are now invited to apply for SBI Foundation LEAP Innovators for Bharat: Innovation for Social Good Program.
SBI Foundation Leap Innovators for Bharat: Innovation for Social Good is a collaborative initiative between SBI Foundation, a CSR subsidiary of State Bank of India and IIT Kanpur to foster a robust incubation ecosystem.
The program focuses on nurturing and promoting early-stage and growth-stage impact-driven startup companies in the AgriTech, Healthcare, and CleanTech sectors to drive indigenous innovation and maximize the positive impact on society.

Funding Information
- Funding Support:
- INR 8 lakhs for 24 Early-stage Startups
- INR 12 lakhs for 6 Growth-stage startups
- Incubation Support:
- Access to IIT Kanpur’s incubation facilities, infrastructure support, and technical expertise.
- Networking opportunities with industry experts, government bodies, and potential partners.
- Mentorship: Tailored mentoring sessions to help startups refine their product, business model, and go-to-market strategy.
- Market Access: Assistance in scaling solutions through partnerships with PSUs, industries, and communities for socially impactful outcomes.
- Follow-on Funding: Opportunities to secure additional funding through investor connects, workshops and pitch sessions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Startups whose focus aligns with the program areas.
- Startups incorporated and based in India.
- Each startup must have at least one full-time employee.
- The product or technology provides a functionality/capability not available in any off-the-shelf product, or a functionality/capability that can be demonstrated to possess a competitive advantage.
- The product or technology offered by the startup represents original ideas, wholly owned, with freedom to use or is licensed by the startup.
- The team has formed, or is a part of, a recognized, legal entity as its company’s structure.
- Only Private Limited Companies with all compliances in place may apply.
- The incubation policy of the incubator at IIT Kanpur will apply to startups joining the cohort.
