The National Startup Competition 2024 is now open for applications!
National Startup Competition is a competition for the best and brightest university startups from the Danish Universities. All startups compete for cash prizes, receive feedback from experts on how to improve their startup, and become a part of a network of like-minded entrepreneurs! Cash prizes 200.000DKK in 2024.

Criteria
- Semi-finalists must participate on the 6th of June in CPH at the Award Show and Semi-finals. Do note that this only counts for the 30 selected teams and that minimum one co-founder who can pitch participates but you’re welcome to bring your team.
- All teams must have at least one co-founder who is a student, faculty member, or recent graduate (within 2 years from graduation) from one of the Danish universities (AAU, AU, CBS, DTU, ITU, KU, RDA, SDU, RUC) at the time of submission. This person must also be the one pitching in the competition.
- At least one founder must attend the Semi-Finals and Award Show in Copenhagen (in-person). The person attending must be able to pitch the startup.
- Teams are not required to have a Danish CVR number when they apply, but if they win, they will need a CVR in order to claim their cash prize within 12 months of winning.
- Participants from previous competitions can participate again if they have significantly made progress in their startup. Category winners cannot apply again.
- All teams must have at least one person who is a permanent resident of Denmark. This includes residents on temporary student visas.
- There is no funding or revenue cap when applying for the competition.
