The Nawaya Network is pleased to announce Generation of Innovation Leaders (GIL) program, powered by UNICEF that aims at enhancing the level of knowledge, among vulnerable youth, related to Design Thinking and Business Development across Lebanon.
The GIL entrepreneurship program is an intensive 4-day Design Thinking training followed by an intensive 8-day Business Development training for unemployed Lebanese and refugee youth. The program provides youth with the skills and knowledge needed to develop innovative income-generating business ideas. Based on a set of criteria, the most viable business ideas will be selected and will advance to incubation, where they receive coaching sessions and seed funding to launch their Small and Micro Businesses.
The Nawaya Network implements The Generation of Innovation Leaders program in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, and the South, including Nabatieh.
Eligibility Criteria
- Registration is open for youth who have not previously enrolled in this program, and who match the below criteria:
- Age: 18 to 28 years old
- All Nationalities
- Females and males
- Able to read and write
- Able to commit to the program
- Live in Beirut
- Have a business idea related to Digital Communications
