Submissions are now open for Enterprise4Change Programme to empower beneficiaries by identifying entrepreneurs in a community and stimulating their entrepreneurial spirit.
Aims
- The primary aim of the programme is to establish sustainable small enterprises to positively impact poverty and unemployment. Many of these entrepreneurs are talented and have great ideas, but face challenges that are greater than their current capacity
Description and Outcomes
- During this comprehensive programme they will empower (facilitate and mentor) equip (skills training) and enable (funds to purchase assets) beneficiaries over a period of 12-24 months. The overarching goal is to establish small ventures that are sustainable, can create jobs and contribute to the economic wellbeing of their immediate family and community as a whole.
Programme Activities
- An Entrepreneur Bootcamp starts the selection process and determines which entrepreneurs will be eligible to enter the mentoring phase of the programme, which includes:
- Accredited Business Skills Training
- Professional Mentoring and Coaching
- Guided purchase of income generating assets
- Business Development Support
- Soft Skills Mastery
Application Criteria
- Do you have a great business idea, are operating a start-up, micro or established small enterprise that can create jobs and generate sustainable revenue?
- Are you a South African Citizen and you reside in Victoria West or Hutchinson, Northern Cape?
- Are you available to start in May 2025? Can you commit to attending mentoring sessions on two days per month – in person?
