Submissions are now open for the Steward Leadership 25 Project Program.
Steward leadership is the genuine desire and persistence to create a Collective Better Future for stakeholders, society, future generations, and the environment.
In business, this means pursuing a growth strategy that aims to create win-win-win prosperity wherein employees, shareholders and society at large thrive together.
The Steward Leadership 25 (SL25) list showcases projects from for-profit organisations that have demonstrated resolute actions to drive profitable growth by addressing the very challenges that threaten humanity.
An SL25 project is a distinct business endeavour that generates positive environmental and/or social impact AND contributes to the organisation’s sustainable growth (“Target Outcome”).
SL25 covers the Asia-Pacific region and accepts entries from the following categories:
- Large Companies (Market capital /Valuation/AUM of USD100 million or above)
- Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) & Social Enterprises (Market capital/Valuation/AUM of below USD100 million)
Methodology
- Steward Leadership involves activating the Steward Leadership Compass to have a significant positive effect on uplifting communities or tackling today’s environmental challenges.
- Projects that are included in SL25 are part of the organisation’s core growth strategy, which is subsequently guided by the organisation’s values and purpose and serves as its compass in directing operations and execution.
Eligibility Criteria
- Project by for-profit organisations.
- Project that achieved the Target Outcome within the qualifying period (01 February 2022 – 01 February 2024).
- Project was implemented in the Asia-Pacific region.
- The for-profit organisation primarily owns, manages and implements the project.
- Project by past SL25 Honourees that meet either of the following conditions:
- It is a new project by the organisation.
- The previously submitted project has demonstrated significant new progress.
