The Financial Times and Statista are seeking applications for the “Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders 2024” program.
It will be a list of companies across the Asia-Pacific region that have shown the highest reduction of their emission intensity between 2017 and 2022, which is to say, their core greenhouse gas emissions in relation to their revenues, as well as further climate-related engagements (e. g. collaboration with the CDP and SBTi, transparency regarding scope 3 emissions).

- Inclusion in the list “Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders 2024” is a visible and public acknowledgment of your company’s engagement for the climate which extends far beyond your specific industry and country.
- Effective media coverage
- The list will be covered in a special report as well as online. In the online version, it will be possible to filter for countries and industries.
- Reputation
- All companies that make it into the list may use the award logo for marketing purposes
Eligible Countries: All companies from the following countries are eligible to participate: Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, New Zealand, The Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.
Who can participate?
To be considered for inclusion in the list your company must meet the following criteria:
- The company is headquartered in one of 14 countries in the Asia-Pacific region
- The company had revenue of at least $50 million in 2022
- The company reports emissions data independently
- The company publishes the following data:
- core emissions (scope 1 and scope 2) for the years 2017 and 2022
- revenues for the years 2017 and 2022
- In case a CDP rating is available, the score must be at least B-
