Is your food production or hospitality business looking to grow? This twelve week Food Venture Scale Up Program is for you! Grey County is offering a number of subsidized participation spots to qualified food production businesses looking to grow their operations beyond start up.
The Scale Up Program is a 12-week program designed for food entrepreneurs wanting to grow their packaged food/beverage product.

Who can apply?
This program is hosted by Georgian College’s Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre, Grey County Small Business Centre and Simcoe County Small Business Centre. As such, the program is available to individuals in Barrie, Simcoe County and Grey County, Ontario. If you’re not in any of these regions, the program may open to citizens outside of these counties after the first round of vetting. They highly suggest you still apply!
Criteria to apply
- Must be operating a food or beverage product business
- Must have at least one product SKU
- Must have approximately over 10k in annual sales
- Must be selling via a minimum of one avenue (farmer’s market, online, retail, etc).
