Funding Information

• The program will grant $300,000 to Black female entrepreneurs starting in National Black Business.
• There are twenty-one (21) Award Prizes available to be won. Six (6) Award Prize winners will receive a Grant-Prize of $25,000 and fifteen (15) Award-Prize winners will receive a Grant-Prize of $10,000. All winners will receive complimentary Tarte products in their prize package.
• The Grant Prizes will be in the form of a check pursuant to the terms of the Award Prize Letter.
• The Grant Prize has an ARV of either $25,000 or $10,000.

Eligibility Criteria

• In order to enter the contest, an applicant must:
  • identify as female;
  • be Black or African American;
  • legally reside within the United States;
  • be 21 or older at the time they provide their Submission;
  • be at least a 51% owner, controller and/or operator of the business referenced in the Submission and
  • meet any other requirements described in these Official Rules (collectively, an “Entrant”). A purchase of Tarte products or a donation of Heart to Tarte products will not increase your chance of winning.
• Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Tarte, its promotional partners and their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same household of each such employee) are not eligible to enter or win a prize. Additionally, Contest Judges, members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same household of each such are not eligible to enter or win a prize. Immediate family members include siblings, grandparents, offspring, aunts, uncles and first cousins.
