Deadline Date: May 15, 2026
The Social Impact Award Slovenia 2026 program offers young changemakers a structured incubation opportunity to develop early-stage social entrepreneurship ideas into impactful ventures.
The program focuses on incubation support for idea development, mentoring for building business and impact models, guidance in acquiring first users and customers, opportunity to compete for the Social Impact Award with financial support and recognition, participation in the SIA Summit, and access to an international alumni network of more than 1,000 social entrepreneurs across over 25 countries.
The incubation program is designed to help participants transform their ideas into viable social enterprises by providing structured support and practical resources. Selected participants receive mentorship and guidance to strengthen both their business approach and social impact strategy, helping them move from concept to execution in a meaningful way.
After the application process closes, a jury evaluates submissions based on innovation, feasibility, team readiness, and overall potential. Only the most promising ideas are selected to move forward, making the program competitive and focused on high-impact initiatives.
Finalists gain access to a wide range of benefits that support their entrepreneurial journey. This includes direct mentoring, structured support for developing business and impact models, and assistance in reaching early customers and building an initial audience for their ideas. Participants also become eligible for the Social Impact Award, which includes financial support, public recognition, and participation in the annual SIA Summit.
Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria to ensure the program supports early-stage youth entrepreneurship. All core team members must be between 14 and 30 years old. Both undeveloped ideas and early-stage projects are accepted, provided implementation began after January 1 of the previous year. Projects must not have received significant formal funding exceeding 6,000 euros from external sources such as grants, investments, or awards. Additionally, applicants must not have previously participated in the SIA incubation program or received the Social Impact Award for the same idea.
