By offering essential resources, mentorship, and funding, the InuaBiz Challenge empowers young entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into thriving businesses, fostering personal growth, community development, and contributing to the national economy.
The inaugural InuaBiz Challenge this year, will feature a business pitch competition, mentorship and training sessions, as well as awards and recognitions.
The InuaBiz Challenge is designed to support innovative business concepts from young persons with disabilities across Kenya, to enhance the visibility, capacity, and economic empowerment of business founders and entrepreneurs with disabilities, helping them to create and manage successful enterprises.
Aims
- It aims to enhance accessibility and inclusion by implementing inclusive marketing strategies and creating accessible application processes, while also customizing support to meet individual needs.
- The initiative strives to offer effective mentorship and training through experienced mentors and it addresses funding challenges by connecting with investors.
- Additionally, it seeks to increase visibility and recognition by organizing events and leveraging media platforms.
Funding Information
- The winner will be awarded a Ksh 150,000 grant to support their business growth, accompanied by professional mentorship.
