Through this prestigious competition, they bring together key players to foster growth and collaboration across the region’s startup ecosystem. Regional winners advance to compete on the global stage, connecting them with a world-class network and opportunities for international recognition.
The Greater Bay Area (GBA) is an economic and innovation hub in South China, integrating Hong Kong, Macao, and nine cities in Mainland China’s Guangdong province, including Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Positioned as a global innovation center, the GBA is often compared to Silicon Valley for its thriving startup ecosystem.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants from the following regions are eligible to apply for the Global Startup Awards – Greater Bay Area:
- Hong Kong
- Macao
- Mainland China (Selected Cities)
