Deadline: 9 February 2024
Submissions are now open for the euRobotics Technology Transfer Award 2024.
Technology transfer of both industrial and service robotics technology has a key function for European industry so that it can be and remain at the forefront of global competition. That is why euRobotics rewards technology transfer between academia and industry and provides R&D with good practices.
The award signifies successful technology transfer – the process of converting scientific findings from research into innovative products, processes, and services. Outstanding examples of technology transfer in robotics and automation that result from cooperative efforts between research and industry are eligible for the prize.
Why it is worth applying?
- Your application is an investment that pays off!
- High visibility for the finalists and winners via the public presentations and the award ceremony at the #ERF2024 in Rimini and via a dedicated European-wide press release after the event
- Attractive “label” for both new partners from academia and industry
- Best opportunity to make your network grow
- The winning team receives an award, the finalists signed certificates. All benefit from a high visibility thanks to different marketing activities offered by euRobotics also in cooperation with the European Robotics Forum in Remini.
Technologies that the Award Focusses On
- Robot applications refer to automation solutions using robots, which have contributed to cutting costs, raising quality, enhancing productivity, saving of valuable resources, or have reduced physical labor at the workplace.
- Robot components refer to research results, which have contributed to an innovative and competitive robot system (in any robotics application field).
- Embodied AI refers to cognitive robotics applications using AI methods.
Geographical Region
- The technology transfer should have taken place in Europe.
Criteria
- A team may be represented by up to three members (individuals) in the application.
- Your tech transfer should have taken place in robot applications, robot components, or embodied AI – Applications are invited for a technology transfer project with individuals or preferably teams from industry.
- The technology transfer should already be in an early, demonstrable stage of commercialisation: not just promising research results but also not products that have been on the market for quite some years.
