The 2026 FNF Afri GreenPitch Challenge is currently accepting applications to support entrepreneurs developing green economy solutions across selected African countries.
The focus areas include circular economy and waste management, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, sustainable mobility, and water and wastewater solutions. The programme targets business ideas that contribute to environmental sustainability and the development of green economy sectors. It offers cash and in-kind prizes valued at approximately $20,000 for winners and finalists.
The challenge is designed to support innovators and entrepreneurs operating in the green economy space, particularly those developing scalable and commercially viable solutions. It aims to strengthen business growth in key sustainability sectors and promote innovation across Southern Africa.
Eligible participants must have green economy solutions in at least the pre-growth phase, meaning registered, trading, and generating sales while seeking Series A funding. The competition is open to innovators and entrepreneurs working in the defined sectors.
The programme is open to businesses based in Botswana, eSwatini, Kenya, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, and Tanzania.
