Through the iDEX Open Challenge, they are casting the net wider, creating opportunities for innovators to propose ways for harnessing their technology capabilities to strengthen their nation’s military superiority.
India is witnessing the rise of the next generation of Engineers, capable of developing technologies in autonomous systems, intelligent machines, advanced materials, predictive algorithms, or even rocket engines, for the most sophisticated applications in defense and aerospace domains.
Selected applicants are offered a chance to pitch to the iDEX grand jury and qualify for grants and investments, organized periodically throughout the year.
Themes
- The Open Challenge invites proposals under various leading technology domains, including aerospace, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, etc. Participants can submit proposals under one or more themes.
Eligibility Criteria
- The challenge is open to Indian startups, individual innovators, and MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) who have innovative solutions that can be used in the defense and aerospace sectors.
