As part of VivaTech 2025, the Tech for Change Award recognizes startups that place positive impact at the heart of their business model. Whether their focus is on environmental, social, or societal issues, this award aims to promote innovative companies that are responding to the major challenges of their time.

The Award is dedicated to startups who will have a booth at VivaTech 2025.

• For the 150 Tech for Change startups:
  • The Tech for Change recognition is awarded to impact-driven startups showcasing at VivaTech 2025. Become a Tech for Change startup and benefit from exclusive visibility during the 4-day event!
• For the 6 finalists:
  • Receive the Tech for Change recognition.
  • Pitch your solution in front of a jury of top decision-makers and investors.
  • One-to-one meetings booked with VCs during Office Hours.
  • Participation in the CSO Summit morning session on Thursday, June 12th, a dedicated event for C-level executives, impact investors, and key players in the sustainability ecosystem.
• For the winner:
  • Pitch your solution during the grand Award ceremony on the VivaTech main stage.
  • High visibility during VivaTech
  • A private meeting with the high-level jury

Selection Criteria

• Positive Environmental and or Societal Impact:
  • Startups whose business models place a measurable positive impact on the environment or society at their core.
• Innovation:
  • Level of relevance, originality, and innovation demonstrated by the tech solution.
• Scalability:
  • Feasibility, practicality, and viability (technical, economic, and environmental) of implementing the solution.
  • Being an exhibiting startup at VivaTech 2025
