A special opportunity for Canadian Startups to apply for the 2024 Neptune Award.
The Neptune award is given to the solution that advances the understanding of the ocean and that helps minimize the impact on these resources, even while using them for human benefit, resulting in more resilient bodies of water including healthy marine life and coastlines.
Benefits
- The Winner of the Canadian Call for Solutions will win a seat as a finalist for the Neptune Award at Ocean Exchange in October.
- This is not a separate monetary award.
- The Canadian winner must still compete with other global entries for the monetary awards.
- $100,000 USD Non-Dilutive Award
Eligibility Criteria
- They welcome registrations from Canadian innovators with solutions in materials, devices, processes, and systems that meet the award definition.
- From Canadian solutions, One applicant will be selected to be a finalist at the Ocean Exchange Event in October.
- Two additional applicants will be selected to compete among main pool of Neptune Award 2024 semifinalists.
- Finalists competing in Fort Lauderdale will present to delegates representing business, academia, government, and nonprofits, who will select three monetary award winners and offer networking opportunities.
