The annual 2025 Vesalius Innovation Award celebrates outstanding innovations from young entrepreneurs and start-ups. This is a unique opportunity for exposure and gives science’s future leaders the chance to take their ideas to the next level.
The Vesalius Innovation Award welcomes early-stage startups that are reimagining how scientific knowledge is communicated, evaluated, and applied. They consider all fields- especially those with relevance to Health Sciences, Open Science, and public engagement.

Application Requirements
- To apply for VIA 2025, you’ll need to fill their form with key details about your startup – including your startup name, team contact, postal address, a brief description of your idea, your team’s strengths, and how your solution fits their focus areas. You’ll also need to upload a pitch deck (PDF or PPT). It doesn’t have to be long – but it should clearly show what your solution is, who it’s for, and why it matters. All other information is submitted directly through the application form – no additional documents needed.
