Applications are now open for the Business Events Perth Aspire Awards Program that will allow the recipients to showcase their expertise on a global stage, network with like-minded professionals, and explore new avenues for collaboration, research, innovation and trade.
For the past two decades Business Events Perth has been recognising Western Australia’s brightest minds through the Aspire Awards program. Now in its 25th year, in 2024 the awards program will see ten successful Aspire Award applicants who are outstanding candidates in their fields, receive travel grants to support their attendance at international conferences.

- Curtin university aspire award: $5,000
- Edith cowan university aspire award: $5,000
- Harry perkins institute aspire award: $5,000
- Murdoch university aspire award: $5,000
- Perron institute aspire award: $5,000
- Professional conference organiser aspire award: $10,000
- Telethon kids institute aspire award: $5,000
- The university of notre dame australia aspire award: $5,000
- The university of western australia aspire award: $5,000
- This is fremantle aspire award: $5,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Business Events Perth’s Aspire Awards support Western Australian researchers, academics and professionals to attend an international business event or conference of their choice.
- Professional conference organiser aspire award:
- Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs) eligible for the Aspire Award must meet the following criteria: They can be either members or non-members of Business Events Perth. Australian PCOs must possess an Australian Business Number (ABN). The PCO must be currently contracted by the association they represent. Furthermore, the association’s national board must include a member from Western Australia. The Australian Association Conference must have the option to rotate to Western Australia for a future conference. Additionally, the association must have Western Australian members and be affiliated with an international association. Finally, the PCO must request the association to endorse the application.
