The ACC Healthcare Innovation Section is looking for early-stage start-up companies in the cardiovascular space for the 2024 ACC Innovation Pitch Challenge in Atlanta, GA.
Four companies will be selected from a highly competitive pool to present their company and product at the Future Hub in front of a live audience and expert panel of judges, including Steve Flaim, Ph.D. – Senior Special Advisor and Investor-in-Residence at the NHLBI.
Prizes
- All finalists receive:
- Up to two free registrations to ACC.24 ($1,598 in value) in Atlanta, GA | April 5-7, 2024
- A high visibility platform, pitching in-front of hundreds of physicians, key opinion leaders, and potential investors and partners.
- Winners receives:
- 10×10 Expo Hall Booth Space (right next to Future Hub) at ACC.25
Rules for the Pitch
- Oral pitches for the Challenge can be no longer than 5 minutes each, followed by 5 minutes of questions from the panelists. Extra time is not allowed.
- Final pitches must be made live and in person at ACC.24 in Atlanta, GA by the applicant or a team member named in the application.
- After the pitch, judges will have additional time to ask questions.
- Final pitch decks will need to be provided electronically to the organizers at least one week before the finals.
- Teams are not eligible for monetary prizes but will pitch during the ACC.24 Future Hub in-person event. Pitching to potential investors, experts from the NHLBI, and physicians is the sole purpose of the event.
- Application Fee: There is no fee to enter the competition. However, applicants selected as finalists will need to pitch in person at the ACC.24 Future Hub. Free registration will be provided for two representatives. Teams are responsible for making their own arrangements for travel and lodging.
