The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) through PSG-STEP invites applications for the TIDE 2.0 Entrepreneur-in-Residence program supporting innovators and startups working at the Idea to Proof-of-Concept development stage.
Idea validation and Proof-of-Concept development (EiR), Prototype and MVP development (Grant), Technical mentorship and business guidance, Access to PSG-STEP’s incubation, labs, and ecosystem. The MeitY TIDE 2.0 Entrepreneur-in-Residence program at PSG-STEP is designed to provide funding and mentoring support to innovators and startups at the Idea to Proof-of-Concept stage. The support includes incubation at PSG-STEP, where the fund is to be utilized for the validation and development of the idea over a period of 1 year. PSG-STEP is associated with the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology under the TIDE 2.0 scheme. The program enables early-stage founders to transform concepts into functional prototypes with access to technical and business support mechanisms.
Funding Support: ₹4 Lakhs (EiR) + ₹7 Lakhs (Prototype Grant) is offered under this initiative to encourage development of innovative products and solutions. Selected participants will receive structured mentoring, prototype development assistance, and access to PSG-STEP’s incubation facilities and ecosystem resources, enabling them to accelerate product development and business readiness.
Eligibility is open to individual innovators or startups at the Idea, PoC, or Early Prototype stage working on ICT-enabled or deep-tech innovations. Focus sectors include Healthtech, Edutech, Agritech, Fintech, Cleantech, Infrastructure and Transportation, and emerging tech areas. Core technologies include IoT, AI, Blockchain, Robotics, and related fields.
