Deadline Date: December 03, 2025
Are you looking to scale your maritime safety and security technologies into Europe? If yes, join now the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) in Germany and Finland.
The opportunity focuses on autonomous underwater/ surface vehicles: Surveillance, inspection, and data collection; advanced radar, lidar, and sonar systems enhancing the detection and tracking of vessels and underwater objects; cybersecurity solutions for protecting maritime infrastructure from cyber threats; artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies used to analyse vast amounts of data for threat detection and decision-making in maritime security operations.
In response to intensifying geopolitical tensions, especially in the Baltic and North Seas, Germany, Finland and other European nations are rapidly modernising their maritime defence and security ecosystems. Canada’s high-potential tech companies with innovative, validated products have the unique opportunity to integrate into these evolving markets, working through the CTA programme which is a joint initiative between the Canadian Embassies in Germany (Berlin) and Finland (Helsinki). The programme is non-equity and offered at no cost beyond travel for the companies, making it an accessible path to new European partnerships.
Eligible applicants must be Canadian companies with revenue-generating business and fully built and validated technology. They must have a committed team with market-entry goals for Germany and Finland, and sufficient resources to target and achieve growth in these new markets. This initiative represents a timely and strategic chance for Canadian innovators to contribute to allied maritime domain awareness and resilience while expanding their global footprint.
