The MeitY GENESIS – Matching Investment Component, implemented by AIC ALEAP WE-Hub with support from AIM, NITI Aayog, Government of India, aims to empower startups from Tier II and Tier III cities with grant support of up to ₹50 Lakhs.
The focus areas include Robotics, AI / ML, FinTech, ICT, DeepTech, HealthTech, Cybersecurity, and IoT.
This initiative is designed to fuel the innovation journey of startups by providing a Matching Investment Grant of up to ₹50 Lakhs along with access to mentorship, industry networks, investor pitching, and growth opportunities. Through this program, startups can also gain national and global recognition via the MeitY Startup Hub and the AIM Ecosystem. Eligible applicants must be DPIIT-recognized startups registered in Tier II or Tier III cities, operating as Indian private limited companies with at least 51% Indian ownership. They should be working on a tech-based, market-ready product or software, preferably generating revenue, and must not have previously received funding under TIDE 2.0 (Scale-up) or SAMRIDH.
