Deadline: January 20, 2026
The Creative Europe Programme offers a call for proposals to boost the promotion and cooperation among European audiovisual professionals through Markets & Networking support.
The focus areas of this opportunity include improving the innovative aspect of existing European industry markets, increasing their systemic impact, encouraging the creation of networks of markets, developing networks among European professionals for co-creation of series, promoting sustainability and greening processes of the markets, enhancing competitiveness and promotion of European audiovisual works on international markets, ensuring full advantage of technological and business innovation, and enhancing diversity and inclusion in the markets and networks.
This call supports two main types of projects: Markets and Networking activities. Markets involve industry events that facilitate business-to-business exchanges, co-productions and sales, with a structuring effect on the European audiovisual ecosystem and global promotion impact. These events can be physical, digital, or hybrid, and should adapt to market trends, including innovative content such as videogames, VR, XR, AI, cross-media, animation, or genre audiovisual works. Networks of markets organized around thematic or geographic bases can increase their impact by covering several related film markets or types of works, such as kids content, documentaries, or animation.
Networking activities aim to promote European works and consolidate the audiovisual ecosystem across the value chain. Networks may propose business-to-business promotional activities within and outside MEDIA strand countries, including financial support to third parties for distributing European audiovisual works or exchanging best practices focused on innovation. Networking also supports co-creation of series aimed at competitive and marketable European series.
The total budget allocated to this call is EUR 16,500,000 for project grants.
