Applications open for Women in Tech Incubator (South Africa)

Deadline Date: June 26, 2026

The Women in Tech Incubator South Africa is requesting applications to support women innovators in STEM with resources, training, and business development opportunities.

The focus areas, include women’s entrepreneurship, gender equality, technology innovation, STEM industries, business incubation, startup growth, leadership development, mentorship, financial coaching, networking and partnerships, access to funding, investor engagement, entrepreneurial skills development, and innovation-driven business growth.

The Women in Tech Incubator South Africa is an initiative led by Standard Chartered in partnership with WomHub. The programme is designed to empower aspiring women entrepreneurs by helping them develop innovative technology-based business ideas and accelerate their growth within the STEM sector.

The programme offers a four-month incubator experience for 15 selected participants. Through a comprehensive curriculum, participants receive support aimed at strengthening their businesses and enhancing their entrepreneurial capabilities.

Participants benefit from focused sessions on personal growth and leadership development, helping them build the skills required to lead and grow their ventures successfully. The programme also provides opportunities to connect with potential investors and business partners.

A pitch competition forms part of the programme, with the top five winners each receiving an award of $10,000. These winners will also receive individual mentoring and financial coaching for a further three-month period.
