The SmartAgri CoE Open Challenge Program is inviting applications to support AgriTech startups in developing innovative and sustainable agricultural solutions.
The program focuses on identifying and onboarding promising AgriTech startups, incubating and supporting innovative product development using emerging technologies and ICT tools, fostering research and entrepreneurship in electronics, IT, and biotechnology applications in agriculture, creating a holistic ecosystem for R&D and precision farming innovation, establishing advanced research and testing facilities, providing physical infrastructure for prototyping and commercialization, building a network of mentors, linking incubates to funding and stakeholders, promoting domestic IP creation and indigenization, and assisting in prototyping, development, and commercialization of products for domestic and international markets.
The program offers startups access to plug-n-play incubation facilities, research laboratories, prototyping support, mentoring, go-to-market assistance, seed funding up to Rs. 35.00 Lakhs, investment support, high-speed internet connectivity, virtual incubation and acceleration, legal and accounting services, business connections, product improvement guidance, access to the STPI CoE ecosystem, participation in national and international events, and IPR filing assistance.
Eligible applicants include startups incorporated as Private Limited Companies, Registered Partnership Firms, or Limited Liability Partnerships, with a registration/incorporation date not exceeding 10 years.
