The GIMA Innovators Seed Corn Fund is inviting applications to help inventors and small businesses launch innovative gardening products and bring them to market.
The fund focuses on supporting new and unique products that have not been previously exhibited at GLEE, offering financial support, exhibition opportunities, marketing assistance, and industry exposure.
Applicants can receive up to £6,000 in funding, which includes support with design, development, consultancy, manufacturing, or marketing costs, free exhibition space at the GLEE trade show, a half-page advert in the GIMA New Product Digest publication, and a 12-month GIMA membership.
The fund is open to inventors, start-ups, and small businesses with products sufficiently developed for market readiness. Applicants must ensure reasonable design protection is in place, and non-disclosure or confidentiality agreements can be signed if required. The selection is based on the product’s innovation, uniqueness, and commercial potential, as judged by a panel of industry experts.
