Deadline Date: October 01, 2026
The Project Grants programme supports joint development initiatives between Lithuania and Sweden, focusing on cooperation between young people and organisations in areas such as culture, youth and education, innovation and entrepreneurship, and civil society development.
The focus areas of this funding opportunity include development of networks, creation of new enterprises, innovation, cultural and intellectual exchange, bilateral promotion of culture and language, social cohesion, development perspectives, and the establishment of new cooperation between organisations and individuals that have recently begun working together.
This programme encourages collaborative projects that strengthen ties between Lithuania and Sweden while promoting creativity, learning, and cross-border cooperation. It is designed to support initiatives that bring long-term value through cultural, educational, and social engagement.
The maximum funding available for a single project is SEK 50,000. Projects must begin only after funding has been awarded, ensuring that all supported activities are properly planned and implemented within the grant period.
All funded projects must be completed within one year from the start date. A final report must be submitted no later than three months after the project’s completion. While there is no requirement for co-financing, any additional funding received from other sources must be clearly disclosed in the application.
Applicants are required to submit a realistic budget that includes details such as travel arrangements, number of participants, roles of travelling individuals, modes of transport, associated costs, and any materials required for project implementation.
