The MANTRA Expression of Interest seeks technology-driven SMEs to support the transformation of traditional manufacturing businesses across Europe.
The focus areas, of the initiative include digital transformation, green transition, social innovation, advanced technologies, technology transfer, SME collaboration, sustainability, environmental solutions, industrial competitiveness, strategic partnerships, matchmaking, co-creation, market expansion, knowledge sharing, and support for manufacturing sector transformation.
MANTRA is establishing a pool of tech-savvy SMEs that will serve as a resource for traditional manufacturing SMEs seeking innovative solutions and expertise. Selected organisations will be included in a qualified directory and made accessible through the MANTRA technical marketplace.
The technical marketplace is designed to connect traditional SMEs with technology providers developing, producing, and commercialising advanced technology solutions for the manufacturing industry. The platform will facilitate collaboration, increase the visibility of technology providers, and support the adoption of advanced technologies across traditional sectors.
Participation in the MANTRA pool offers opportunities for organisations to gain visibility across Europe, connect with manufacturing businesses, and engage in transformation projects. Selected SMEs may also be identified by beneficiaries of the MANTRA Open Calls as potential partners for collaborations and strategic alliances.
The initiative seeks innovative SMEs with expertise in advanced technologies that address digitalisation, sustainability, or environmental challenges within the manufacturing sector. Eligible applicants must be legally established SMEs located in one of the 27 European Union Member States and meet the applicable SME definition regarding employee numbers and turnover.
Applicants must demonstrate between two and four years of experience in the development, production, or commercialisation of advanced technology solutions for manufacturing. English language proficiency, both written and spoken, is required, while knowledge of additional languages is welcomed.
