The European University Cyprus Startup Programme powered by Microsoft supports mature Cypriot start-ups through training, mentoring, networking, and access to business development resources.
The program focuses on start-up growth, business model strengthening, market readiness, entrepreneurial training, dedicated mentoring, networking opportunities, access to Microsoft for Startups benefits, business acceleration, innovation support, startup ecosystem development, technology support, Azure credits access, AI and security guidance, architecture optimization, and connection with investors and business stakeholders.
The programme is organized by the School of Business of European University Cyprus in collaboration with Microsoft and leading organisations from the Cypriot entrepreneurial ecosystem. It aims to support six Cypriot start-ups that are beyond the idea stage and ready to expand within a structured and supportive environment.
Selected start-ups will receive tailored training on entrepreneurial and business topics, dedicated mentoring adapted to their stage and needs, and opportunities to connect with investors, founders, venture capital representatives, and business professionals. Participants will also gain access to Microsoft for Startups benefits, including onboarding support and potential eligibility for up to $5,000 in Azure credits, subject to programme approval and conditions.
The programme is supported by innovation partners including BSM Cyprus, CNP Cyprus, CYTA, ExxonMobil, EY, Gnomi, GrantXpert Consulting, Eurobank, IMH, Logicom, Microsoft, NetU, and NewCyTech, with additional support from the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Eligible applicants must be mature start-ups located in or operating in Cyprus, be beyond the initial concept stage, commit to participating fully in the programme until December 2026, and be available for the Graduation Ceremony in December 2026.
Participation in the programme is offered free of charge to selected start-ups.
