Entries open for UK StartUp Awards 2025

The UK StartUp Awards champion and celebrate the best and brightest start-ups from across the United Kingdom. The awards recognise the achievements of those amazing individuals who have had a great idea, spotted the opportunity and taken the risk to launch a new product or service.

There are ten regional awards namely:

• East of England
• London
• Midlands
• Northern Ireland
• North East, Yorkshire and The Humber
• North West England
• Scotland
• South East England
• South West England
• Wales

All of the winners from the regional winners will then compete to be the best in their category at the UK National Finals.

Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for the UK StartUp Awards 2025, your business must meet the following criteria:
  • Business Location: The town or city where your business primarily operates must be within the UK. AND
  • Trading Start Date: Your business must have started trading on or after 1st January 2022. This means your business has been actively offering goods or services to customers for three years or less by the end of 2024. OR
  • Pre-Trading Businesses: If your business is operational but has not yet started trading (for example, in cases where development, testing, or pre-launch activities are ongoing), you are also eligible to apply.
