The Rheinpreneur Newcomer Award 2026 seeks to support innovative ideas that address key challenges faced by newcomers and migrants in North Rhine-Westphalia. The programme encourages solutions that improve access to essential services and strengthen social and economic inclusion.
The award is open to newcomers, locals, and mixed teams, allowing applicants to apply individually or collaboratively. Participants may apply at the idea, prototype, or MVP stage of development, and solutions that are still in testing phases are also eligible.
The initiative specifically targets early-stage innovators who do not yet have consistent revenue and are still validating their solutions in real-world contexts. It aims to encourage experimentation and development of impactful ideas that support integration and community development.
