The International Market Entry Funding Programme is requesting applications to support small and medium-sized enterprises in expanding their business and establishing a sustainable presence in international markets.
The programme focuses on supporting international expansion activities including investments for acquiring licences and concessions in foreign markets, covering personnel and travel expenses, and funding external service support to enable successful market entry and global business development.
The funding is designed to assist SMEs based in Vienna in building and strengthening their international presence through structured support for market entry activities. It aims to help businesses grow beyond domestic markets and develop long-term international operations.
Eligible costs under the programme include investments in foreign market access such as licences and concessions, as well as personnel-related costs, travel expenses, and professional services required for international expansion. The programme supports projects that contribute directly to sustainable international growth.
Funding is available for projects with a minimum size of €20,000 and a maximum funding amount of €50,000 per project. Each project may run for a maximum duration of up to two years.
Eligible applicants include existing small and medium-sized enterprises with headquarters and operational presence in Vienna. The programme is specifically targeted at SMEs seeking to expand into new international markets and strengthen their global competitiveness.
