The Watson Institute Flagship Fellowship empowers impact-driven entrepreneurs through a fully-funded program designed to strengthen leadership, scale ventures, and build global connections.
The program focuses on entrepreneurship development, business acumen, financial literacy, leadership capacity, venture scaling, access to capital, mentorship, global networking, and community-driven impact through immersive learning, workshops, and collaborative engagement.
The Flagship Fellowship is a 16-week fully-funded entrepreneurial and leadership development program that brings together impact entrepreneurs from diverse sectors and backgrounds. It begins with a virtual Immersive, where Fellows collaborate on addressing global challenges while building strong peer connections.
Participants engage in business and leadership workshops that form part of Watson Institute’s signature curriculum. These sessions are designed to enhance practical knowledge in entrepreneurship, strengthen financial understanding, and build the strategic capabilities required to grow sustainable ventures.
The fellowship also provides access to financial tools and resources that help entrepreneurs reinforce their venture’s financial foundation. Through guidance from experienced practitioners and specialists, participants gain insights into managing and scaling their organizations effectively.
Through the Impact Series and specialized workshops, Fellows interact with established entrepreneurs and community leaders. These sessions are tailored to support business growth, expand professional networks, and deepen leadership skills necessary for long-term impact.
A key component of the program is pitch training, where participants develop and refine compelling presentations for their ventures. This culminates in a virtual Summit, where Fellows present their progress and impact to mentors, investors, and a global audience.
The fellowship is designed for founders and entrepreneurs who are leading ventures with demonstrated traction and a strong commitment to creating positive change. Eligible applicants typically run organizations that have been operating for one to five years, have fewer than ten employees, and show measurable results with some level of funding already secured.
Participants must commit fully to the 16-week program, including the mandatory virtual Immersive and regular weekly workshops. The fellowship prioritizes individuals who are ready to actively engage, collaborate, and contribute to a vibrant community of changemakers.
The program is open to adults aged 18 and above from various geographic regions, depending on the specific fellowship criteria. It is ideal for individuals seeking expert mentorship, structured entrepreneurial training, and opportunities to expand their impact through leadership and community engagement.
