Farm Mechanization, Precision Agriculture, Supply Chain & Agriculture Logistics, Post-Harvest, Food Technology & Value Addition, Waste to Wealth & Green Energy, Agriculture Allied Sectors, Agri Fintech, Agricultural Inputs & Biotechnology, Natural Resource Management, Agriculture Extension & Education.
This incubation program focuses on nurturing idea and seed-stage agri-startups that are working on innovative solutions in agriculture and allied sectors. It aims to bridge the gap between early-stage innovation and market-ready products through a structured support system that includes technical validation, mentoring, and access to industry networks.
Selected startups under the program are provided with incubation support that includes grant-in-aid assistance of up to INR 25,00,000, along with opportunities for technology validation and backstopping. The initiative also enables access to pilot testing environments, enabling innovators to test their solutions in real-world agricultural settings.
The program further strengthens entrepreneurial capabilities through mentoring from industry leaders and experts who guide startups in refining their business models and technological solutions. Participants are also exposed to advanced infrastructure and resources that help in improving product development and scalability.
In the first phase of the program, selected startups undergo a one-month incubation and training period. During this phase, they receive intensive mentoring and coaching from technical experts and business leaders. The process includes technical validation, business assessment, intellectual property evaluation, and other feasibility checks to ensure that the product is viable and scalable. At the end of this phase, startups present their solutions to a panel of experts for evaluation.
The second phase consists of a 15-day training program where selected startups receive structured guidance to commercialize their products effectively. The grant-in-aid is released in two tranches, supporting startups in launching and sustaining their business operations. This phase also emphasizes strengthening market linkages, expanding professional networks, and enabling field trials and pilot opportunities.
Through this comprehensive incubation framework, the program aims to enhance product readiness, improve business acumen, and provide startups with greater access to funding opportunities and industry connections, ultimately supporting the growth of innovation in the agriculture sector.
