Deadline Date: August 14, 2026
The Presentation and Participation Grant by the National Arts Council supports arts practitioners and organisations in delivering diverse and engaging artistic projects that enrich cultural expression and public participation.
The grant focuses on supporting music recording projects, publishing, exhibitions and performances, festivals and conferences, process-driven or co-creative projects with public engagement, and multidisciplinary artistic initiatives across performing, visual, and literary artforms.
The Presentation and Participation (P&P) Grant is designed to strengthen Singapore’s vibrant arts ecosystem by enabling individuals, organisations, and collectives to produce and present high-quality artistic works. It supports a wide range of activities including performances, exhibitions, publications, and music recordings such as EPs, albums, or collections of singles. Projects can be delivered through physical formats, digital platforms, or a combination of both, provided that digital content aligns with funding and public suitability guidelines.
Funding under this scheme varies depending on the applicant type and project category. Individuals and non-profit organisations can receive up to 70% of a realistic project budget, while for-profit organisations can receive up to 50%, with a maximum cap of $100,000 per applicant per financial year. Publishing projects across all applicant types are also supported up to 50% of the budget within the same cap. The grant prioritises projects that demonstrate strong artistic merit, meaningful public engagement, feasibility in execution, and well-planned budgets.
Eligibility for the grant extends to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, registered organisations, societies, and collectives with a majority of local members. Foreign publishers may also apply if they are promoting Singaporean-authored literary works. Collaborative projects involving international participants are allowed, provided that the lead applicant and at least half of the artistic team are Singaporean or Permanent Residents.
The disbursement of funds is structured based on the grant amount, with payments made in two or three instalments tied to project milestones such as acceptance of the grant, completion of the project, and submission of required reports.
