The Ocean Exchange Neptune Awards 2026 offer a unique opportunity to support groundbreaking solutions that enhance our understanding of the ocean while minimizing human impact.
The awards focus on innovation, impact, and execution across all maritime, blue economy, ocean environmental, and coastal resiliency topics, as well as data gathering and analysis.
The Neptune Awards will recognize solutions that advance ocean knowledge and contribute to healthier marine life and coastlines, promoting resilient bodies of water while responsibly using ocean resources for human benefit.
Three $100,000 USD non-dilutive awards will be granted in 2026 to solutions that demonstrate measurable innovation, meaningful environmental and societal impact, and strong execution strategies. Applications will be available via oceanexchange.org through the F6S platform starting March 1. From the submissions, 30 global semifinalists will be selected and contacted by August 31, and 12 finalists will be announced on September 25. These finalists will have the opportunity to present their solutions at Ocean Exchange in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Deadlines for entries vary by region: Asia & Oceania – June 12, 11:59pm GMT; Europe, Middle East, & Africa – July 10, 11:59pm GMT; The Americas – August 7, 11:59pm GMT.
The Neptune Awards provide innovators with a platform to showcase solutions that address pressing challenges in ocean and coastal ecosystems while offering practical benefits for human use.
