The Immersive Technology Entrepreneurship Labs, in partnership with the IndiaAI Mission has launched the BuildAI Pitch Event—an initiative to identify and nurture promising AI-driven startups addressing India’s unique challenges.
The initiative focuses on identifying promising AI startups, fostering deep-tech innovation, enabling incubation and co-incubation opportunities, strengthening mentorship and ecosystem support, and providing access to grants and funding for scalable solutions addressing complex challenges in India.
The ITEL Foundation aims to accelerate India’s journey toward global technology leadership by solving complex challenges through innovative, locally driven technological approaches. As part of this collaboration, they will initiate a national pitch event in April to identify high-potential AI startups, researchers, and innovators from across the country.
The incubation program is designed as a structured and comprehensive nurturing process. Selected participants will receive multi-dimensional training, strategic guidance for scaling their ventures, and continuous performance monitoring. Dedicated mentoring support will also be provided to help startups refine their ideas and business models while gaining access to angel investors and venture capital networks.
Incubated startups will have the opportunity to apply for grant funding of up to ₹20,00,000, enabling them to further develop and implement their innovations. Travel expenses for shortlisted teams will be reimbursed, subject to a maximum limit of ₹10,000 per team. Eligibility for the program extends to AI startups, researchers, and innovators working in the deep-tech space who are seeking structured incubation support and opportunities to scale their solutions.
