The central theme of the 2026 edition is Physical AI, which refers to intelligent systems capable of perceiving, understanding, reasoning, and acting in the physical world. This includes autonomous systems such as cameras, robots, self-driving vehicles, and hardware-enabled software that orchestrates complex real-world actions.
Following two successful editions, the Helbling Venture Challenge returns for its third round in 2026, continuing its mission to support visionary startups developing transformative technologies. The program is organized in collaboration with Helbling Technik, a leading product innovation and engineering development company that focuses on enabling startup ideas in hardware and hardware-enabled software.
Helbling Technik has established a strong global presence with operations in Switzerland, Germany, Poland, the United States, and China. The organization works closely with international startups and companies to support the development and commercialization of innovative products. With a team of more than 500 professionals, Helbling combines technical expertise and engineering experience to guide the efficient development of successful products.
Startups participating in the Helbling Venture Challenge will benefit from the opportunity to receive a comprehensive technology due diligence review. The winners of the challenge will receive an exclusive consulting package for product development valued at CHF 25,000. This consulting support will be provided by one of Helbling’s international locations, including Switzerland, Boston, San Diego, or Munich, offering startups access to advanced engineering expertise and strategic guidance.
