The Katapult Africa Accelerator is now accepting applications to support impactful startups that develop agritech, foodtech, and climate tech solutions across Africa.
The program focuses on clean energy, clean mobility, circular economy, sustainable agriculture, and frontier climate markets, aiming to foster innovation, investor readiness, and measurable impact across these sectors.
The world’s growing population increases the demand for food and raises the environmental footprint of agriculture, creating a critical need for new technologies that can revolutionize food systems and mitigate climate risks. Innovative startups from Africa require support to scale their solutions and create long-lasting impact.
Katapult Africa Accelerator provides 90 days of intensive workshops, networking, and mentoring, combined with meaningful capital support to help startups grow and prepare for investment. The program equips participants with knowledge and tools for impact management, business growth, and attracting funding for expansion.
The Katapult Ocean Accelerator, an award-winning extension of this model, combines 90 days of workshops, learning sessions, and networking with €150,000–€500,000 initial investments, enabling follow-on funding of €1,500,000–€4,000,000 from the Deep Blue Fund in subsequent Series A, B+ rounds.
Startups selected for the program work with world-leading mentors and partners, gaining guidance, connections, and resources to accelerate innovation and scale solutions that address climate, food, and energy challenges across the continent.
Through this program, African startups gain both strategic and financial support to develop sustainable technologies, strengthen local economies, and contribute to a more resilient and equitable future.
