Deadline Date: March 13, 2026
The SIA Foundations is currently accepting applications to support young entrepreneurs in developing scalable business ventures through mentorship, training, and access to resources.
The program aims to provide mentorship and guidance to businesses to help them transform ideas into viable business ventures, offer access to resources such as funding, advice, workspace, and networking opportunities to foster business growth, assist businesses in improving operations and scaling their business models, and identify potential successful businesses to award seed funding that accelerates growth. The focus areas are technology-enabled businesses in healthcare, education, agriculture, light manufacturing, renewable energy, and recycling.
Six exceptional businesses will benefit from a $10,000 seed fund, with first prize receiving $3,000, two second prizes receiving $2,000 each, and three additional awards of $1,000 each. Fifty entrepreneurs will partake in world-class training, and all participants will receive mentorship from industry experts to navigate the startup journey. The program also offers networking opportunities to connect with other business leaders, access to legal and administrative support to manage regulatory requirements, and assistance with product development. Entrepreneurs will also join a community of peers to share, collaborate, and evolve together.
Eligibility requires businesses to demonstrate scalability and growth potential through customer feedback, business plans with financial projections, and a three-month business account statement showing relevant transactions. Market potential will be evaluated from the business plan summary, including market size, industry trends, target market, and competitive analysis. The founder’s track record will be assessed through resumes, reference letters, and any awards or recognition. The uniqueness of the business idea, business tenure of 1-2 years, and founder’s age between 20 and 35 years are also required.
