This National Women’s Month, the DTI-Zamboanga City Office is calling on women entrepreneurs to showcase their remarkable contributions to the community.
Rising Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, Innovative Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, Champion of Change Award, Environmental Impact Award, Outstanding Women Leader of the Year, Inspirational Mentor Award, Strategic Partnership Award, and Resilient Woman Award are among the categories recognizing leadership, innovation, resilience, mentorship, environmental responsibility, and meaningful community impact.
The DTI-Zamboanga City Office is inviting nominations for the National Women’s Month Awards, a special recognition celebrating women who lead, inspire, and create impact in Zamboanga City. This initiative highlights the achievements of women entrepreneurs and leaders who have made a tangible difference through their businesses and community engagements.
The awards aim to honor women-owned Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and commitment to their communities. Eligible nominees must have been in continuous operation for at least one year and be residents of either Zamboanga City or Isabela City. Women aged eighteen and above are welcome to participate, and self-nominations are accepted, ensuring a wide and inclusive pool of candidates.
Through this recognition, the DTI-Zamboanga City Office seeks to spotlight the resilience and creativity of women in business, offering them a platform to inspire others and strengthen the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The celebration of National Women’s Month through these awards not only honors individual achievements but also encourages collaboration, mentorship, and sustainable practices within the business community.
