The Quality of Life Vienna Funding Program supports projects that address societal challenges by developing innovative solutions that contribute to positive social change in Vienna.
The program focuses on health, education, diversity, integration, social innovation, new products, innovative business models, and projects that improve quality of life through positive social impact. This funding opportunity is open to small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs seeking to implement projects that generate measurable social benefits. Project partnerships may also include universities, universities of applied sciences, associations, non-university research institutions, and institutions from the education and social sectors. Eligible projects may receive support for personnel costs, consulting and development services, as well as material, equipment, and investment costs, including investments in new machinery, equipment, and construction measures required for project implementation.
The maximum funding amount available per project is €150,000, with a maximum funding rate of 50 percent. Projects must have a minimum total size of €20,000 to be considered eligible for funding. Additional financial incentives include a women’s bonus of €5,000 for projects led by a qualified woman and a start-up bonus of €5,000 if a company is founded as part of the project.
An advance payment of up to 50 percent of the approved funding amount may be requested, subject to the submission of semi-annual progress reports. The maximum duration for funded projects is two years.
