The NSW Government administered by Sound NSW under the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport supports the development of significant technology, digital tools and online collaboration to connect fans with NSW music.
The program is designed to sustain a thriving grassroots music ecosystem that builds audiences, promotes NSW music and supports local music collaboration. It aims to build audiences and promote NSW music, increase engagement with local music through content creation, collaboration and partnerships, leverage technology solutions to enhance collaboration and innovation, strengthen music communities in Western Sydney and regional NSW, and amplify the work of priority communities to build a diverse contemporary music sector.
