The Enterprise Nation Fund recognises small business owners whose work is driven by their values. There will be three winners across three categories, which are based on Enterprise Nation’s own values.
Competition Categories
- Entrepreneurial
- Is your business driven by a creative and innovative spirit?
- The winner of this category will be mentored by Timothy Armoo, co-founder of social and influencer agency Fanbytes, who was only 27 when his business was acquired in a landmark eight-figure deal.
- Trusted
- Is your business trusted by its customers and the people who hold a stake in it?
- This category’s winner will be mentored by Mike Turner, co-founder of Bird & Blend Tea Co., the UK’s most loved indie tea company. The award-winning brand offers eco-friendly tea and is B-corp certified.
- Community-led
- Is your business centred around its local community?
- This winner will be mentored by Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation. Enterprise Nation is a 750,000-strong community of small businesses and advisers that exists to shortcut your route to trusted business support.
The Prizes
If you’re one of the three winners, you’ll receive the following:
- A £5,000 grant to fuel your business growth
- Monthly mentoring sessions for 12 months with an experienced entrepreneur
- A meeting with a dedicated TikTok Ads Specialist at TikTok’s London office, where you’ll create a tailored media plan
- A Dell Technologies XPS laptop, worth up to £1,000 (Model subject to availability)
- £500 credits to spend on VistaPrint.co.uk
- Santander Navigator ‘Prepare’ package, worth £1,800 of international growth support.
- A 12-month Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps membership, worth £596.
Who can apply?
To be eligible for the grant and other prizes, your business must:
- be based in the UK or Ireland and have a UK or Irish business bank account
- be registered with Companies House or Companies Registration Office, or registered as self-employed and have a unique taxpayer reference (UTR)
- have a workforce of no more than 25 employees
- have been trading for at least three months
- not be undergoing insolvency, examinership, or any related or similar process.
