The FedEx E-Commerce Learning Lab is a joint program supporting small businesses in adapting to and growing within the digital commerce ecosystem.
The focus areas, include e-commerce development, digital business transformation, small business growth, online sales expansion, wholesale channel development, retail storefront expansion, business model adaptation, digital skills training, virtual learning programs, coaching and mentorship, entrepreneurship support, financial grants for business growth, and market access support for small businesses in the United States.
The program is designed to help small business owners at different stages of their e-commerce journey through structured learning components that include hands-on training, growth support for established businesses, advanced virtual seminars, and guided online learning journeys.
It aims to strengthen the ability of entrepreneurs to adapt to the digital economy and improve their competitiveness by supporting both early-stage and established e-commerce businesses with tailored learning and development opportunities.
Participants in the program include small business owners who are either starting their e-commerce journey or seeking to expand existing online operations. The program also supports businesses exploring new sales channels such as wholesale or physical storefronts.
Selected participants in the Beginners’ Cohort receive a $5,000 grant upon completion of the program to support their e-commerce growth plans. Participants in the Amplify Growth Lab receive a $10,000 grant after completing the program to support their business expansion strategies.
Eligibility is limited to small business owners based in the United States who sell packaged or shelf-stable products, hold appropriate legal permits, generate less than $500,000 in annual revenue, and have been in business for at least six months. Applicants must also maintain a business bank account and commit to full participation in all program activities, including training sessions, coaching, and marketplace engagement.
