Emerald’s Emerging Markets Case Studies collection is pleased to host this case-writing competition in partnership with Middlesex University Mauritius. Enter for a chance to win up to $1,000 alongside publication in a Scopus-indexed case collection.
The aim of the competition is to encourage and promote the development of high-quality, compact teaching case material relevant to the realities of the Mauritius context.
It will also support the development of case-writing capabilities in Mauritius.

The winner of the Mauritius compact case competition will receive a $1,000 prize!
Entry Criteria
Your case should:
- Have a developing and emerging markets focus
- Be written by authors based at Mauritian higher education institutions
- Be based on a real situation in a real company
- Be a teaching case, they cannot accept academic (research) cases
- Fall within 1,000-3,000 words (please note that the teaching note does not count towards this limit. The teaching note is submitted as its own document and can be as long as the authors feel necessary for the case)
- Not have been published before in its current or substantially similar form or be under consideration for publication in any ISSN/ ISBN-registered publication or with any other case centre
- Include a completed and signed consent to publish release form.
