Call for Startups: Future of Retail

Has your company developed a solution applicable to the retail sector? Are you working to make retail more eco-responsible, to incorporate revolutionary technologies into points of sale, to enhance the in-store customer experience or to optimise procurement or stock management? Then this challenge is just for you!

Participants will have the unique opportunity to work closely with Kiabi, one of the leading names in retail. And that’s not all: the brightest among you will be offered the exceptional opportunity to appear on stage alongside Agorize in front of a professional audience at the prestigious Mapic event in Cannes in November. Unprecedented visibility to boost your solution!

Rewards

  • Opportunity to collaborate with KIABI – The panel of experts will carefully examine all applications and select the most promising companies for further discussions and possible collaboration.
  • Invitation to Mapic Innovation Forum – One company will be invited to the MAPIC Innovation Forum to present its solution alongside Agorize, at the Palais de Festivals in Cannes on 29 November 2023 at 5pm.
  • A premium pitch – 10 companies will have the chance to pitch their project in front of Kiabi’s Innovation, Brand and Real Estate leaders!
  • Immersion day at Kiabi – The winning company will have the opportunity to spend a day in the Kiabi head office.

Eligibility Criteria

  • This Challenge is open and offered solely to:
    • Startups. A business entity, regardless of its business area. Startups may be required, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to provide proof of
      • company registration by submitting a registration certificate issued within the last three (3) months, or ongoing company registration, or any trade registry and proof ensuring the registration of the entity in the relevant country, and
      • a valid professional insurance policy subscription.
    • All the documents that may confirm the Participant’s eligibility may be required prior to awarding any prizes (e.g. identity document, registration certificate, student card etc.).
    • This Challenge is not open to: employees and representatives of the Sponsor and Agorize and the members of their families.
    • This Challenge is void in countries where it is prohibited or restricted by law.
