The Pcieerd Startup Grant Fund Program offers to support early-stage technology startups in developing innovative solutions and advancing their products toward market readiness in the Philippines.
Focus areas include Clean Technologies, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Education Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT) and Data Analytics, Solutions for the Creative Industries, Audiovisual Media, and Climate Change Technologies.
The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) launched the Startup Grant Fund Program to help technology-based startups translate early-stage technologies into market-ready products.
The program provides fund assistance to help startups overcome R&D roadblocks, strengthen intellectual property, establish initial market traction, refine business models, and prepare business continuity plans.
The call for proposals is open to qualified startups, especially those located in DOST-supported Technology Business Incubators. Eligible startups must be legally registered with the DTI or Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for at least one year and up to seven years, provided that their business model has not been established.
Applicants must have an early-stage prototype or proof of concept for their product or service and demonstrate the capability to conduct research and development while maintaining compliance with ownership, nationality, and legal requirements.
