The Mini Capacity Building Program aims to strengthen ICT hubs in the Gaza Strip through a UNDP-funded initiative implemented by PITA.
The focus areas, include technical capacity building, operational capacity strengthening, administrative skills development, sustainability planning, business continuity, ICT resource management, energy resource management, MSME support services, freelancer support, financial sustainability, reporting compliance, donor compliance, curriculum development, training design, ICT ecosystem development, entrepreneurship, SME development, and coworking and hub management.
The assignment is part of a broader initiative to support private sector MSMEs productivity and enhance ICT hubs in the Gaza Strip. It is implemented through the Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies with funding support from UNDP, aiming to improve the performance and resilience of ICT hubs.
The selected training company will be responsible for designing a tailored training curriculum based on a needs assessment of ICT hub teams. The curriculum will cover key thematic areas and include interactive training sessions, practical exercises, and learning materials delivered in Arabic, with English references where applicable.
The program will also include the setup and management of an online training delivery platform to ensure effective implementation. The assignment is expected to be completed within three weeks, in coordination with participating hubs.
Applicants must demonstrate strong experience in ICT sector training, capacity-building programs, and large-scale professional training delivery. They should also show expertise in ICT and technology training, entrepreneurship, SME development, coworking hub management, and financial sustainability.
A strong understanding of the Palestinian ICT ecosystem, particularly in the post-conflict context, is required. The training company must also provide qualified trainers with relevant experience, including personnel from within and outside Gaza to ensure knowledge exchange and diverse expertise.
