Deadline Date: April 23, 2026
BMO is committed to empowering business owners by breaking down financial barriers and providing the tools, resources, and partnerships needed to grow successfully.
The program focuses on providing access to working capital loans, educational resources, and strategic partnerships, alongside advancing the growth and support of women through targeted grant opportunities.
BMO Zero Barriers to Business™ offers access to business lines of credit up to $50,000, where interest is only paid on what is borrowed, and a 0.25% rate discount is available for automatic payments. Educational support is provided through practical tools, webinars, and coaching designed to help business owners achieve tangible financial progress. The program also connects businesses to meaningful networks and alternative funding sources through strategic partnerships.
In addition to these resources, BMO is presenting the 2026 BMO Celebrating Women Grant Program in collaboration with Deloitte, offering fifteen small businesses $10,000 grants each. This initiative targets businesses that demonstrate a commitment to advancing women, whether by improving public health and safety, providing products or services for women, or promoting education and skills development for women and girls. Applicants are evaluated on their high-level growth strategies, challenges faced, and their plan to use the grant to further support women’s advancement.
Eligible applicants must be U.S. residents, business owners of legal age in their state, and have not previously received a BMO Celebrating Women Grant or be involved in the program’s development or judging. Businesses must be active, for-profit organizations with annual revenues of $50 million USD or less, in good standing, and operating for at least two years as of April 2, 2026. Specific location criteria also apply for certain states to ensure proximity to BMO branches.
